About This Site

Anderson County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service for locating the official paths behind a county booking, custody entry, police report, or later court record. The goal is to make the relevant custodian easier to identify. It does not publish a booking-photo gallery, hold official records, or decide what any record means.

What We Organize

Tennessee public-record access is not a single database. In Anderson County, the sheriff’s jail portal handles current and bounded recent custody, the arresting department may hold the incident report, and the court record supplies the disposition. A person sentenced to state custody may instead be found through the Tennessee Department of Correction. This service brings those separate official routes, request options, and local distinctions together so they can be used in the right order. It does not copy arrest records, host court files, or display a collection of booking images.

Information Available Here

The material is arranged around the systems documented for Anderson County, not a universal search result.

  • The home page identifies the ACSO roster, 24-hour and multi-day booking views, and the records-request fallback.
  • City pages distinguish Oak Ridge, Clinton, and Oliver Springs police-record routes from county jail custody records.
  • Most Wanted directs readers to the official warrant and court confirmation paths rather than reproducing names or images.
  • Crime News & Mugshots separates event reporting from official custody and court records.
  • Public-record information explains how to identify the office that created a record and make a narrow request.

Limits of This Service

Anderson County Busted Mugshots is privately run. It is not connected to a Tennessee government agency, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, a jail, a police department, or a corrections department. We cannot release or move a person in custody, post bond, schedule a visit, file a court document, or give legal advice. Addresses, fees, phone numbers, and outside systems can change without our control.

  • We cannot confirm that a person is currently held or has been released.
  • We cannot obtain an official booking record in place of the proper custodian.
  • We cannot determine the legal outcome of a charge from a booking entry.
  • We cannot promise that an outside roster or court portal will be available at a given time.

A booking entry reports an accusation, not guilt. The final court disposition, not a booking card or a news item, is the record that resolves the case.

Search Partner Disclosure

Some pages include search tools provided by independent partners. Those providers set their own prices, terms, results, and data practices. If a partner tool leads to a paid enrollment, Anderson County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee that helps support the free reference material. That relationship does not give us control over a partner’s result, charge, or decision.
